“I can’t even remember what I was thinking about….”
[ It was difficult for Sherlock to admit being wrong, or being sorry. Though he tried his sincerest to seem sorry without actually saying the words. Everyone who knew him well enough, knew that he wouldn’t just come out and say it. Though that was only a small handful who could even say they knew him ‘well’. ]
[ So he kept his silence. ]
[ That was all she had to say. If she hadn’t distracted him then he probably wouldn’t have forgotten. Lesson learned. He clearly didn’t seem like a people person, and next time she came across someone like that, she would make sure not to bother them at all ]
“By the way, ‘m Clara. You are?”
[ Maybe not so learnt ]

Thieves. Compared to what was after her, a few robbers looked like newborn kittens. He knew that if he told her the truth- that there were demons and archangels after her- she was bound to mark him off as mentally unstable.
“It is something else. I do not think you are prepared for the knowledge of what it is, not yet.”
Something else then. She took a deep breath and gave him an understanding nod, giving him her trust. It was odd, sometimes you could know a person for years and not trust him, but there was something about this man that made her believe him almost blindly.
“Alright then. I’ll trust you. ‘S not safe to get a cab then? Should we walk?”
"And trust me, ‘m prepared for anythin’. Seen things tha’ many would find hard to believe. You can tell me while we walk"
It was just who she was, a curious girl. Even if she trusted him, she wanted and craved for an explanation of what was it that he found so dangerous. Aliens?
